I have been able to link Robert Nanny of Stepney, England, later Soco, Maine through a series of marriages including Wheelwright, Maybury, Hutchinson, and Lloyd. My 4th great grandfather George Nanney changed his name to Anway between 1810-1812. If you have come across anything more regarding a link between Robert Nanney and the Nanneys of Long Island, N Y.
