It’s such a magical idea to freefall your words into a novel in 30 days. How liberating! Could it be that easy? Having just had my first historical fiction novel published, I’d say it was more like giving birth – over three grueling years. I wrote the first draft in six weeks which was great fun but the editing and re-editing… Whew! But you know what they say, you soon forget the pain and focus on the beautiful bundle on your arms. Perhaps it’s time to start again!
